OMG you have to try… Chelsea Bean

I was invited to the launch of an amazing little place called the Chelsea Bean, in Somerset West. This is one of those places that is sort of tucked away, and if you didn’t know it was there you probably wouldn’t stumble upon it – but that is sort of what makes it so great. The Chelsea Bean is all about farm-to-table style fresh produce and the contents of their on-the-go menu are as delicious as they are wholesome. If you happen to be in the Stellenbosch or Somerset West it is most definitely worth the trip, and I can’t wait to go back. Those people who know me know I love a good waffle (the real thing as well as the not-so-literal meaning of the word), but in this case I really have to let the food and pictures of the tasting market speak for themselves.

Expensive? Nope.
Go there for: a breakfast of screamy eggs, toasties on rye or a lunch harvest table from 12:30-14:00 and delicious coffee, treats and wine. Plan to spend a little extra on their retail products like home-made mayo, Chilli Jam or Granola.
